Sounds to me like your breaks actually. Usually when a car pulls to one side or the other its the result of a break not functioning (for example if the car pulls to the left its a problem with the brakes on the right side). However you also mentioned that the car starts shaking also thats usually the syptom of a warped rotor (its kinda like the brake is catching on the high points of the rotor and slipping on the low points causing a vibration). So i would take a good look at thoes brakes again. Might be that one side has failed (the opposite side of the pull direction). Or a siezed brake of the side of the direction of the pull (probably more likely as a brake thats clamped on the rotor will overheat and warp a rotor or drum for that matter i suppose). Also u dont have ABS by chance do you?

no need for slotted and drilled rotors just got get a mid grid rotor at oreilly's about 30 bucks a piece. my car shook like a rollercoaster i did an alignment, put all new pitman, idler arm and center drag link, wagner brake pads about 35 a side. and new brake calipers 10 bucks a piece did my own alignment and it works like brand new no problems whatsoever.... 87 305 tpi / 700r4 limited slip rear end
