86 Z28 IROC --- Sputtering / Hesitating HELP

305 Sputtering and bogging

1986 Z28 IROC
Resent purchase in Jan09, ran great then, now I'm getting bored with having to replace part after part and it's not getting better.
Symptons:
Once its at operation temp, the car will bog and sputter and will not hit passing gear. Car just fades off until I lift off the throttle and feather it a bit. Strange stuff happening. The shop put it on the computer the first time and I got a MAF code. I replaced the MAF last week, along with a fuel pump, fuel filter, ECM today and the same ol shine olla. The computer reading is clear !!!! What could it be??? I'm sure you guys are experiencing the same stuff........ HELP ME PLEASE>>>
I don't want to rebuild the whole car and find out if was something simple

Could it be the CAT???

How are spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Have you check for vacuum leaks. When the car starts to act up what is the temp gauge reading?

TPI? Whats the fuel pressure reading at the fuel rails? should be in the 40's

Carb? Fuel level set right in the bowls?

The temperature situation means it has to be in the engine bay close to the motor or on the motor. ie. carb, could be vapor lock from low fuel level

Does it want to die out at idle speeds intermittently?
