would a worn lifter cause power losage?

It was running fine till one day i changed the oil and reved it up really high could the module be the problem to loss of power somwere changed the spark plugs !

over reving is a no no. about 7 to 8 grand. i`ve seen some 283 go up to 10 grand and still hold up. and yes a bad lifter will make u loose power.

high revs doesnt say how much you reved it to most cars have a rev limit....so you need to be a lil more detial how much and why? ...and bad lifters is normal detected when you start hearing a loud clicking type noise....if i put thin oil in my v6 (170,000) it will click loud i have to put no min then 10w-40...hope this helps.
