K, fellas, now I am still a beginner at this, but got another question to add to this and possibly an answer.
I am under the impression that there is a sensor in the overfill container? Is this correct? And if so, could there be a malfunction with it in this case? Nessie ![]() |

The sensor is located about 4-6" down from the radiator cap on the radiator itself.

Just pull your battery out so you can get to it easier, pop the metal retainer clip off the sensor, pull it out and stick your finger in the hole so you dont lose coolant, then take the new sensor, stick it in the hole, put the retainer clip on and plug it up. Put the batter back and your ridin again. Took me about 15 minutes.

I bled the system... and it works great....the light is off and it runs alot cooler
....Thx a bunch. One thing is that when i took off the radiator cap and started the car I lost a 5hitload of coolant cause it boiled over. Now my car reaks of burnt coolant.. HAHA! Peace out![]()
