while micco beat me again. ill give my 2 cents anyways. 307/350 200hp,270hp, car or truck. 1.72/1.5 74.5ccs. now on the block.1968-79 302/327/350 210,250,275,290,295,300,325,350, car and truck. 2 bolt main. the block you have has a wide aray of possibilities. with the range of HP numbers and years, seems to me that you dont have a rare casting. sorry....

This is a little bit off topic, hopefully moderators let this through...Only way I can ībeatī you Mike, is the timezone. I see question about six hours earlier than you . Other thing is that I did lotīs of reserach for my own Z/28, so I had numbers ready. , but as you mentioned in other topic, most important thing is that the information what we give and get is real.

3903352 -> 67 casting, but could be numerous models. The block suffix on the front passenger pad will tell you which car it came from. Should be a letter/number combo like T0104XX.

3914678 -> pretty much any of the 68 Camaro small blocks. Again, the block suffix would nail down which displacement and car model.....

This is getting interesting...Cast# 3903352 can be 327...64-67..Truck. Or 1967...327CID... 210 low hp 2 bolt main or...350 high hp too.(Depends on the heads).Also 64 - 67 350 & 302... 210-350 hp 2-Bolt mains Truck/Passenger
In Corvette according to my data that would have had 300 factory HP. In Chilton's the high hp is to be from either a 69 Corvette 327/T.H. or 65/66/67 Corvette with Powerglide. Suffix v0205hf for casting #3914678 is Vette -65 327... 300 hp man RPO L-75 1x4 Carter AFB.Made in Flint 5 th february.Suffix k1025kl for casting#3903352 is full size -67 327...275 hp TH350 4 bbl made in Mc Kinnon Canada 25th October. The Full Size/Truck part Iīm not absolutely sure but could not find other in my books. For example suffix CTY = 1970 396 Camaro, 375 hp, 11.0:1, TH400 but KL... could not find as accurate.Mike, Pete gimme some help here. with my factory part & casting number guide. the block casting #3903352 indicates 1967 327; 210,275,300,325,350 h.p..2 bolt mains. the casting #3914678 indicates 1968-1979 302/327/350 210,250,275,290,295,300,325,350 car and truck 2 bolt mains. i dont have any guides for suffixes.

i dont have a guide for being model specific. and yes i was refering to 3903352. and that block was used in 1967 only. in 1964 they were road draft blocks. gm didnt have a PCV out yet. so the road draft let the crankcase breathe. there is a hole next to were the distributor is. then they had a tube that ran down next to the tranny bellhousing. there is also a small canister that is in the lifter valley. i have 2 of these blocks so if you have any questions on them, i can give you guys casting #'s and anything else.

The HF suffix was used on a number of engines, but yours would have been a 275HP 327 and should have 4 bolt mains. The KL suffix is the same engine in 1967. Both came with 3 speed automatic transmissions.

mike thats interesting because the 352casting has that road draft that your speaking about.i was wondering what the tube next to the dist was. so your saying that was obsolete in 67?pete would both motors have 4bolt mains?thx for all the input guys but there is some conflicting information from all the replys.
