Question about heads
Last year I bought my friends 94 Z28 heads and I would like to have them machined and put them on my 93 Z28. I should have researched if they would fit before I purchased them. I was wondering if any one could help me with this question. I fixed my Temperature gage problem and I Noticed my car is running hot and I just change my waterpump. The only conclusion I think of is a blown head gasket. I figured now would be a good time to do a cam and head swap. Please advise if anyone would know the 94 Z28 heads would fit or stick to the existing heads on my 93 Z28.
Thanks.... |

the heads will interchange if both engines are lt1's
a hot running engine is not a conclusion that you have a bad head gasket it is one of several indicators you might have a blown head gasket. if you do the head and cam swap you still wanna verify whether you do, or donot have a blown head gasket. shout back |
