Fuel system

I am having troubles as most of you know with my fuel system right now. I hate the stock setup on the car with the pump in the tank.

What I want to know is, What all in involved with converting to a race style external mounted fuel pump? would I have to mount a sump in the tank and redo all the fuel lines? Or is there a simple way of doing this? What about cost, would it be cheaper to just put another pump in the tank, or could I buy and external one cheaper?

Is it possible to mount a suction line in from the top of the tank and feed a external pump? what about the sending unit?

Just looking for some ideas.

thanks

Have you seen the replacement tank you can buy set up for an external fuel pump? It is an exact fit for the 4th gen fuel tank and is an aluminum tank? If not let me know and I will link up the website.

Ok sorry go to the side that ask for your year car and go to the parts. It is under fuel and cooling. Go about halfway down and you will see it.

Once again sorry.
