503 cam...Fanta, enter please..

I am toying with the idea of cam swap again. I am in need of some open minded opinions and an exact part list to make my decision. At first was toying with an LE package, but now that we are buying another toy, funds will be limited for mods this year. Car has 113k on the clock. orig tranny, stock converter, no headers, and likely never will have them. Car has 3:42 gears currently. I am looking for a noticable cam lope, lots of torque, not a cam to rev high to make max power. No juice will ever be on the motor. I want stock fueling. Car might see some track time but numbers aren't all that important to me. I want it to be fun on the street and a good stop light to stop light car on a limited budget not breaking the bank. I was looking at the 503 cam. Seems to be a decent and kinda what I am looking for. I don't want to yank the heads and get them ported. Question is this, what EXACTLY do I need to get this into my car? Is this a good choice of a cam to get me what I'm looking for? Or is there another option? I need the exact list of all parts need to accomplish my goal of the cam swap. I know a stall would probably be needed for this cam, but at this time, that ain't gonna happen. When the tranny gets done at a later date, that will happen along with a cooler, but not now. I am open to suggestions on this and I have time to make the final decision. This would be done over the winter of this year. Just want to plan ahead and be ready when the time comes. Thanks in advance.

Honestly the best advice I can give you for your money is to call a cam company and discuss with them what your looking for and getting a custom grind done. This way there is no guess work in the setup and you will get the best bang for your buck.

Look at the 502 cam, I had it before, ran 12.4's with most of the bolt on's. The car sounded awesome and I could have gotten by with a stock verter. Midrange and low end power is excellent.

These are the parts I used for that cam on a 94
part #
cca-740-16 cc retainers
cca-986-16 cc springs
cca-4771-16 cc seats
cca-611-16 cc valve locks
lun-93094 timing chain
This is everything I could think of. double check on the part #'s to be on the safe side. Good luck.
