why do you "need" taller covers i have the largest rockers on my car that i have ever seen and i still have stockers w/ no cutting rerquired actually if you look at the article most aftermarket v/c's have to be clearenced to fit cranes and gmpp 1.6's especially any aluminum body rocker

i dont know what it is but I dont think the stock valve covers will clear.. If they did then believe me I would like to do it. When we looked to see if it would clear my rr's were sitting too high. big pita

you can make the stockers fit most every full body aluminum rr, if you go with the taller covers then you might have issues with the alternator

Well we had to use the tall valve covers to begin with because the stock ones were deemed "probably not going to work" by my mechanic. Has anyone ever heard of these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

I asked the seller if they were tall or not but im still waiting for and answer.

you can also modify the back of the alt and leave it in the stock location but it only works with certain valve covers

they will work and on tall v/c you HAVE to grind the alt and if you have any type of warranty it will be void ater that just like my rear calipers when i had to grind them down i want to see pics of WHY they wont work

niiice well those looked pretty good on your car. The funny part is he said they are stock height and if i have the rr's then they wouldnt be able to fit. Youre saying to tell him to just cut out the baffles?
