Alright. I have an LT1 that has just poped a head gasket, (or that is what i think is wrong with it). The car has 115,000k mi on it and has been treated very well. Well I was going to send my heads off to leportworks and get a set of le2s, and run them with full boltons, but i got to thinking.

Have u ever had one of those projects that just get out of hand? Well this might be one of them. My question is does a motor with 115,000k have enough life left in it for me not to worry about the internals for a few years or should i just build the bottom end now? If so does anybody have any experience with choosing a good rotating assembly? Here are some pics of my pistons just after pulling the heads. Please tell me what u think.
