whatever brand of head you go with, choose the smaller cc runners. this way you can keep the velocity for better low end and better throtle responce. unless your going to run 4.56's and spin it high, stick with the low end torque. just make sure you pick a good cam for the heads, compression and gear your going to run. but, you probably already knew that.......

It all depends on what your final plans are. If it is mainly a street motor, you want to stick with the smaller port size, like the Edlebrock performer. If you are leaning to Strip and have a roller cam, good springs etc. and will be spinning it to 6500-7500. I'd go with the Pro 1 Dart. If you are building a motor that will see alot of Nitrous you will need even larger ports, something like the Edlebrock Victor, but it will not perform well normally aspirated with those heads. We had a set of the Edlebrock Victors on a 488" BB. It ran poorly NA, but on the juice it was a monster. Talk to some of the makers of the heads. They may have some good information for you. Good Luck
