G2G at my home, July 17-19

I'm going to host another G2G this summer at my home. The last time I set one of these up, I had something like 15 cars show up, 10 or so of which were from out of state.

I'm hoping to get an ever larger turnout this year, even with some other events going on in the Fbody world that weekend. Ask Jason, Glenn, and the rest of the gang that came to my house back in 2007 how much fun we had.

I'm intentionally making this G2G that 3rd weekend in July, the 17-19, because The Lot car show at my church will be that Saturday. This is a HUGE event, with lots of different cars from old muscle to imports to lifted trucks and motorcycles. There is free food and soda as well.

I'm going to follow a similar schedule as my last G2G:

Friday July 17th - Dinner in downtown STL at the Spaghetti Factory, visit the arch, hang around at the riverfront

Saturday July 18th - Visit FastLane, a consignment dealer that sells mostly 60's and 70's era muscle cars, go to The Lot car show in the evening

Sunday July 19th - anyone is invited to attend my church with me in the morning, and if you stay around we'll have lunch at my place

*All meals other than the Spaghetti Factory and the free food at the car show will be provided by me unless you want to pick up breakfast before we meet up. There is a Red Roof Inn that everyone stayed at last time that is very reasonably priced. THis would be your main expense, other than entrance to the Arch, and dinner at the Spaghetti Factory (tends to be $10 per entree + tip, and WELLLLL worth it!)

I am located in St Charles, MO. I'm approximately 25 minutes west of downtown St Louis.

I kind of doubt we'll be able to make this one.

I can whole-heartedly agree that this GTG is a BLAST! Really enjoyed the sites, the cars, and the peeps.

You better, considering you live only 40 minutes away or so.

This would give me an excellent excuse to visit my family that lives in St. Charles.... But I don't think I'd be able to swing G13 and this... Sounds like it would be a fun weekend tho Nick.

Didn't you say your cousin or someone works at the Bass Pro that's a mile from my house?

I might be interested. Idk if I would be able to make it though because I am going to take summer school here at IU and I won't have a ton of money. I'll let you know when it gets closer to the date though.

We will be there Nick, Unless something comes up. I like the idea of using the same itinerary. People new to coming will love it. May I suggest that the Fast Lane visit be done fairly early so that we can get to the Lot a little earlier. It was almost dark last time and that made it hard to look at cars and take any pics.
