2009 Hot Rod Power Tour
I have registered ... just wondering who else might be going? This is something I've been looking forward to doing for the past 15 years since its inception. If anyone is going on any of the legs, I'm sure we can meet up and say hello! Let me know!

I would have liked to do it this year because its here in the Midwest but I'm going to be at school this summer so I doubt I'll make it to any of the legs.

We may do 2-3 legs this year. We did 4 in 05 and had a lot of fun.

Great! I take it if you do, it'd be the latter legs? I guess I'm lucky this year in that the final leg is in Bristol, TN, which borders Virginia. When it's over, it's about five hours to get home. I would look forward to meeting you Jim, if you are able to make it!

I will be at the one in South Bend along with some other guys. a 70 Olds 442, 55 Bel Air, 32 Chevy Coupe, and maybe a few other Camaros.

I went through today and made all of the resurvations for the trip. What a PITB, lol! Guess I should have known. I tried to make reservations for fairly close hotels to the venues, but was unable to do that for Somerset, KY, and Bristol, TN. I had to make reservations about 30 miles out in KY, and 14 miles out in TN. Thought I'd let you know if you are thinking of going as findnig something closer in is only going to get harder as the dates get nearer. I did not use the HRPT site to do the resurvations, as I found I could find what I needed easier and cheaper to do it on my own. Just an update.
EDIT: Also, I believe most of (if not all) the hotels have HSI included, so I should be able to update along the way with pics and such. I should be able to get some great shots and maybe a vid or two!

I live about 35 minutes from somerset so I'm going to do the somerset to bristol leg. I know it's getting late but I haven't made my reservations yet. Where are you staying in bristol? I'd like to stay close to some z28.com guys.

We are not going on the cruise but will be up in south Bend to see all the fine cars on Monday. Maybe we will get a chance to meet Paul.
