LPP Headers

Where is the best place to get my hands on a set of these the cheapest? I want the headers and the y pipe. Greg, did yours come with anything else (gaskets, bolts, etc.)???

I got mine for $600 off their website but I think they've went back up to $650 since. Mine just came with the headers, ory, and a couple band champs but I like the napa band clamps better.

Btw I think Matt and I are going to try to fix my vibration that. Still have from them over 4th of July weekend. You might want to get poly motor mounts too so you don't get the vibration like me.

Yeah, my shifter moves quite a bit so I think I wanna do that anyway. I would just get the whole set which is has the trans mount and everything. I heard somewhere that it was bad to do just the motor mounts cause then the trans mount flexes too much (especially in an auto car) because they seem really prone to failure anyway. I might see what I am doing that weekend and possibly head over that way. I have some friends from school that want me to go to Bay City, MI, but that is a really long drive and a lot of miles on the car to just hang out for a few days.

Yeah there is a car show at the Chevy Dealer on July 5th in Warsaw that we are going to. Matt and I are either working on my car on the 3rd or more likely the 5th after the show.

Yeah, I get my bonus the 15th so I'm gonna order my headers ASAP. I'm so excited. Im kinda torn between ceramic coated pacesetters and the LPP. I can get the ceramic coated pacesetters with a y pipe and O2 extensions for 530 to my door from speed inc. That will save me about 150-200 bucks

Yeah pacesetters are cheaper and will fit better, but not look better. I compare mine to my brothers pacesetters and mine look so much better.

Yeah, the other thing now that I dig a little deeper, the LPP's are 1 3/4" primaries while the pacesetters are 1 7/8." I agree that they dont look as good. Those LPP's were NOICE!!! Its just a matter to me of price. I'm trying to justify if the LPP's are really worth the extra $200+ I will have to put into them and all of the accessories.

What I've noticed too comparing them is that the LPPs have a higher pitch sound to the compared to the PaceSetters. Of course my brother still has the stupid stock catback on his car!! Just delete the muffler Greg!

The pacesetters will eventually rust over time if you don't take car of them or plan on driving the car in the winter, which I don't think you'd do either. I don't think the LPPs are worth the extra money especially since they fit like crap. Lol.

I wouldn't agree with a lot of what you said... The LPPs are a higher pitch because of the cat back more than the actual headers. If I had Magnaflow like you they would sound very similiar. Also they don't fit like crap. If you grind that mount down or get motor mounts they fit fine. Better than Pacesetters? No but Pacesetter has been working on making haders for a longer time.

Btw Nate the Pacesetters are 1 3/4 too. There are Hooker Super Comps, Kooks, and Texas Speed ones that are 1 7/8 but for what you have done to your car idk if you want the 1 7/8 unless you've got bigger plans that idk about.

You can buy my cat back from me then we'll compare! And you shouldn't have to grind down the motor mounts, the headers should be made properly so that you don't have to. They should be able to make them so they don't vibrate no matter how long they have been in business...just my opinion though.

My Pacesetters are rusting right where they come into the collector. Whats curious is that they arent rusting anywhere else, and the ypipe is fine. Cant beat how easy they were to install and the price though.

BTW, i used to drive my car all winter and it doesnt have a garage just to give you an idea of the conditions. Utah winters can be kinda rough.
