Question Single vs Duals

For my LS3 Swap I was planning on running 2.5" duals, no cats, flowmaster 40's, out the back. Running true duals is going to be a PITA because of the room I have to work with and the pipes wont be straight. They will have to curve in a few areas to get it tucked up under the car.

A few guys from TGO said if I ran a single 3.5"-4" in the same style (no cats, flowmaster 40 muffler) it would be a lot easier and cheaper. They also said It should be just as free flowing if not a little better. That seems odd to me but 3 guys all agreed on that so there must be something to it.

What do you think would be better?

Haha I'm following in Nicks footsteps pretty much.

LS3 in a 91-92 Camaro. I'm completely redoing the car. Exterior, interior, engine, the whole 9 yards. Should be able to start on it in a couple of weeks if the bank would hurry up (not for me, for my brother) and then I have to find the car.

Should have kept you're 3rdgen Erik, I've always missed mine.

Ethan, if it was my car I would just run the 2.5" TD's with an X pipe. It will be way more exhaust than what the engine needs so there is room to grow.

You think there would be much of a difference between the two set ups with the stock engine though? Would probably be a LONG while before I did any serious hp adders.

That's true, I'll have to wait until I see what I'm up against.
