Need Recomendation for exhaust

I’m looking at doing a few mods and was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations. I have a 95 3.4 Camaro. I have no mods install yet. I really don’t know where to start. I don’t want a race car just would like to make it a little better. I was looking at doing the exhaust first. Is this a good start?

i had a magnaflow on my 3.1 cavalier and it sounded amazing, the magnaflow on my 5.7 sounds even better though i guarantee if you put a magnaflow on that 3.4 it will RUMBLE

I just notice my car is starting to smoke and there is a lite Black Liquid coming from Exhaust tip. Is this a major problem? (Head Gasket,ETC?)

yeah, it sounds like a head gasket kinda.. Dunno tho..

good exhaust's are Borla Cat Back's.. or Flowmasters (these sound a little raspy but I personally like they way they sound) get either TRUE DUAL exhaust or one like most people that comes back as one pipe from the headers and then goes into the chamber and comes out as two.. that is one of the best ways to go just dont go back single and dont get any size tips over 3in's 3's are pushing it.. 2.5inch tips are a good start! if you want looks you can always get a quad exhaust setup from SLP..

is it A4 or M5? I need to know how you want to improve it before I can tell you which and what to do.. also how much are you looking to spend..

i know alot of people bash flowmaster for sounding raspy on a v6 but i really like mine and ive gotten tons of complements on it...i think most people make the mistake of getting pipes bigger than 3 inches and thats why it sounds bad....I recommend 2.5 inch for pipes and maybe if you want 3 inch tips ...i just stuck with 2.5 all the way through...and for intake what kinda engine u got?? 3.4 or 3.8?

I think he said 3.4... I Would go to ebay and get a K&N CAI for like 80 bux that is a killer deal, you get a K&N Filter and chrome hose pipe and everything..

Im for sure my exhaust is Flowmaster too Kristen! Im thinking my tips are 3in but they might be the 2.5's ive never really measured I like it too!! I think it makes it sound more mean! just me tho.. I want some HEADERS!!! a cam and heads rockers and pistons gears and im done lol maybe some juice or s/c if I won a small lottery or something lol..

Thanks for the replys. I will check out my problem tomorrow. I was looking at the K&N CAI this is the one with the filter that goes to the bottom of the under tray right? Do you have this install on yours. My concern was that it would be to close to the ground. Plus with it rains here water is every where.

well for one you shouldnt let it go to the bottom of the car its not designed too.. Yea I have a K&N CAI got it from Ebay.. when you pull your stock air box out their is a like platfrom thing that it kinda rests on then their is a plastic part which is part of the bottom of your car that deflects are from comming up in that part of the car to help reduce wind resistance so that the air goes either further behind the car or hits the black piece that pulls the air up to the radiator.. dont take that plastic piece off if you get one of these kits.. just pull out your stock air box and it will go about where ever you want it but if you put it below where your stock one sits and not all the way under the bottom of the car it will do great, and if that plastic piece isnt their then just sit it where your stock one sits.. but yeah if you dont follow ill try to explain better..
