my buddy just got an ati. his car is completely stock. w/ 5 psi he made 381 rwhp. i know you can bump up the boost for more power. but you start taking risks on the bottom end then. my opinion unless you got the money to get a forged bottom end w/ $4500 you could get one hell of a heads and cam setup from mti! that will smoke a 5-7 psi kit. by me saying this im not trying to start arguments over heads and cam vs. chargers. im simply stating that $4500 in hc setup on a stock motor will most likely beat a $4500.00 5 psi procharger kit on a stock motor!

hes probably running it w/out the intercooler u wont get huge gains w/out it.. plus 5 psi is a little on the low side.. i usually see 7 to 8 and sometimes some 9

381 sounds a little on the low side to me also. I'm not saying that it's not, but I've seen claims from ATI, and they're a lot higher than that.

those claims are through full exhaust and all bolts ons. an m6 as well. this car was an automatic. also it only made 5 psi which is standard for the entry level kit. im not going by claims im going by facts in front of my face.
