Exhaust Combo Question

I have a '93 6spd Z. I am thinking about going with SLP headers through a test pipe (to delete the cat) and into SLP LM exhaust. Emissions aren't a problem. Anybody have any opinions or advice on how effective this setup would be? Thanks.

Some people use a resonator in place of the cat to help with certain high frequency sounds. I think Borla does that but I'm not sure. You might want to check into it.

SLP Loudmouth uses the resonator to replace the muffler because its completely free flowing, a test pipe in place of the cat is similar to the resonator only it has no sound quality effect. Borla is just cat back though and leaves the stock catalytic in place. Thanks.

actually what i am going to do on my 93 is take the cross flow flowmaster off and replace it with 1 flowmaster race series muffler. this muffler body is only 6" long. and of course the "test pipe" is mandatory. Spintech mufflers perform and sound good too.
