Curious...

My brother has a '97 V6 Camaro. What does it sound like with the stock Z28 muffler installed on it? I still have mine laying around, and before I give it to him to install, he wants to know what it will sound like. Does it give a nice, low tone through the RPM range, or does it sound like a rice burner when revved?

Anyone have experience with this?

It will still sound like a V6, but have them add a resonator, that'll help with the deeper throaty rumble sound he's looking for. I had a '95 V6 and had a Flo-Pro Muffler with a Resonator and the stock dual Z28 tips (the flat black ones). It sounded pretty good. I had a lot of people ask if it was a V6 or a V8. I still miss that car sometimes...

What kind of resonator did you use? Did it make it sound deeper through the RPM range?

I am going to install my stock exhaust on his car probably tomorrow, or maybe tonight, so i will add the resonator later on. I was wondering how much of a sound improvement it made.
