Putting the Z exhaust on my 6er

Hey guys anyone ever thought about just putting the stock Z exhaust on a 6 cycle. I still have my stock z28 muffler and exhaust pipes that I could weld onto the 6 cyclinder. I was thinking about do this. I was hoping for a little deeper sound, nothing extravagante th. I just want to put the dual setup on my 6 and make it a little more throaty w/o blowing money. My money goes into the Z. Just wondering if anyone has or heard of doing this.

thanks
Dave

it can be done, just make sure the pipes are all welded up.

would free up a little HP and give ita little deeper sound, you will get a really bad raspy sound at about 4k RPM though, happens with any/all exhausts!

V6s just dont make the deep down power.

Well again tho. This is not my race car. I just want it a little more throaty pretty much. A deep sound. I'm hoping the Z exhaust does just that.

Just change the muffler and then rear pipes, leave your intermediate pipe alone. You will then accomplish your objective.
