ok i will be gettin headers/y pipe/catback soon and want to kno if i should get the headers wit emmisions hookups or not? im not worried about passing emissions at all , but what do i do if i get the headers without the hookups? will not having an EGR valve hurt anything and will my SES light stay on all the time? ( it is currently on because i need to replace my EGR) dont kno what to do and what would be bets so all help is greatly appreciated!

You could get EGR block off plates and I am not sure but I think you can have the PCM reprogrammed to have the egr removed so it won't throw a code anymore

I think HP wise it doesn't hurt nor help. I think headers without hook ups are cheaper.
