Borla exhaust

O.K. gang, although I'm a big fan of Flowmaster I have been listening to some sound clips of the Borla Stinger mufflers and I think I have a new love Ive tried to get a part number for just the muffler itself but cant seem to come up with any. All I have found is a system for the C-5 and 6 vettes. Anyone run this system or have any idea where to look?

Saw it listed in Classic Ind. Camaro Section but it's possibly also an entire system and not just mufflers.

Send a message via AIM to coldblooded
if all else falls get the number for borla customer service and call and ask, they'll tell u straight out if u can get just the muffler and who you can get it from. doesnt seem like many places carry alot of borla products either

"Coldblooded" has a point ...the Borla is a more often found on hi-performance Euro cars (I like them myself ..used to have one on a race-tuned Sport Spyder) ...so you might also want to check aftermarket suppliers for Italian & German cars.

We have a guy up here who has the whole setup on his car. DAM loud . It also has adjustable baffles too. It splits over the rear axle ... one pipe is a striaght pipe with no muffler and the other has a muffler ...wierd setup IMO.

Your right Nasty ...for our cars they do have a couple of "wierd ones" ...Classic offers 2 setups just as you describe ...then there is one more traditional set-up (1 Inlet, 2 Outlets). Info. for Slayre ...only see Cat-back for our 3rd Gens in their Catalogue ...good news is, all Aircraft Stainless ...bad news is, $680.

Slayre ..you got me curious ...these guys sell Borla Mufflers separately (& discounted) ....http://www.autocarparts.com/parts/Exhaust/
Most single-inlet/single-outlet ...if you want single-inlet/dual-outlet ...ask them if you can buy the muffler only that's used in Cat-back #140028

Thanks iroc287. I emailed them and as soon as I get a reply Ill let you know. I think Ill contact Jeggs and Summit also.
From what Summit tells me it's a S-type muffler cat back system. He couldn't bring up just the muffler so Ill continue the search.
