Motor Build Help

Ok guys, heres the plan.
I found a 1992 rs for a not bad price, but i really hate the idea of a 305. So the goal is to buy a chevy crate motor, the 350/290, as a replacement. First question, since its a carb motor, how hard will it be to swap in? Also, any idea if the motor will be capable of handeling the power produced by this supercharger?

if the motor is rated at 290, its probably running cast internals. hyper-eutectic pistons at best. i would not boost this motor, or ask it to make more than 375hp. call GMPP.

if it doesn't move but should, use WD-40. if it moves but shouldn't, use duct tape.

Since its a new block, i could put forged pistons in it pretty easy no? Without having to hone the cylinders and whatnot? Seeings how its a 4 bolt main and whatnot, i figure it would be capable of a bit more then 375hp with not too much modification. I know heads and stuff would have to be changed out, but it shouldnt be to bad?

One word : CENTRIFUGAL

Either way ...... I would buy a used 4 bolt block and put the parts you need in it . ( perferably a factory roller )

Low compression forged pistons and H beam rods .

Just an opinion .

Blow-thru carbs rule......
