the only way i have heard it not being a good mod is if you just have bolt ons and such or a mild cam. but in your case i think it would be good. gotta help it cram in that extra air

^^ yeah and it would be interesting to see the power difference for FI. if you can, make your first pull and then throw on the bigger TB and make another pull before tweaking.

not necessarily true. stock MAFs can support quite a bit of power and i hear run smoother than any aftermarket one. unless youre maxing out the CFM of your stock MAF there is no need. i hear they can meter air for somewhere around 600fwhp

what about RWHP? lol

just remember, when you go to a 58 mm t/b, you will need to port the intake to match. and its best to do that off the car

not sure about rwhp. this info was given to me as an estimate from the guys who Dyno'd my car (Auto Tek. Austin, TX). an open-road race C6 Z06 w/ a 200 shot was running the stock MAF and was putting down some absurd numbers. then again, it was a Z06 lol.

stock mafs will hold up for a lot, i was more or less asking about rwhp instead of fwhp that you posted earlier...lol
