something with low overlap . Overlap is a bad thing for a poweradder. It pushes the boost right out of the exhaust port. Actually some stock cams are really good for a poweradder.

Also you want a high LSA . Like 114 or better. What I mean is ....
ZZ4 specs I have here ....208/221
if it were for boost it would look like this 208/210 . Less overlap .

Don't forget the bigger LSA . LSA also kinda reduces overlap aswell. So you may be able to get away with a bit more overlap if you have a really wide LSA. Like the stock L-98 cam of my year had a whopping 117 LSA . It actually would make a great boost cam.

Then you would want a reverse-split

Keep the overlap below 5 deg at .050".

Overlap = (intake duration/2) + (exhaust duration/2) - (2 x LSA)

For instance, my cam is 224/236-114

Overlap = 224/2 + 236/2 - (2 x 114) = 2 deg overlap

Choose the duration to fit the rpm range you want. 230 will peak around 5800. Add 400 rpm for every 6 deg duration. For instance, 236 will peak around 6200.
