I know there are tuning kits available for the Edlebrock carbs but im not versed in tuning them anymore ( they are based on the old carter AVS/AFB series carbs) they have adjustable idle circuits with the screws on the front of the carb base and replacable metering rods and jets that you can change to fine tune the carb to your engine , alot would depend on what your carb was set up for out of the box ..if someone has modified it allready , how the float is set and where the screws are set at idle , you may want to contact Edlebrock for tuning tips they would be the ones to know about the carb you have and how it should be set for the engine you have ..

Pick up a "strip kit". It'll have all the jets, metering rods, and metering rod springs that you need. Your stumble is probably related to the accelerator pump... you want just enough pump shot to kill that stumble, too much and you'll richen the mixture until the main circuit picks up.

Check this link out... it's from a Mustang mag, but the carb and the principals are the same: http://www.mustangandfords.com/techa...ing/index.html

You should just fuel inject it, and get rid of that semi-controlled fuel leak sitting on top of your engine.

my edelbrock carb came with tuning instructions in the owners manual it has all of the part numbers needed to tune the carb.

Do you have the manual that came with your carb?

on the accel pump it has i believe three holes for adjustment try playing with that. if it seems to starve for fuel quicken it up, if that doesn't work id try the strip kit.
