Stealth Ram System...

Hey guys, im puttin on bigger heads, bigger cam and a true dubble roller timing chain on my 383. im also puttin on 32 lb injectors and a 58mm thottle body. I was wondering if this holley stealth ram system is a good way to go along with the setup to get more air into my motor. any ideas, suggestions and help is appreciated. thank you

I have a stealth ram system and I love it. I feel it is a must to upgrade the intake on the TPI system as they are very restrictive when upgrading heads and cam. It is a very inexpensive intake for everything you get with it. Your 58 mm throttle body would be useless on the stock long tube runner intake. As the bottle neck is the runners and base well before the stock 48 mm throttle body.

So it would be a good way to go on upgrading? Is the wiring ran the same way? Are the senors and everything in the same places?

Pretty much straight bolt on. You will need to get some fuel lines made as the feed and return are at different locations than on the TPI intake. Overall it is a very easy swap.

How did u run ur fuel lines? Do they go in the same order, like is the passenger side still the return (i think) and the driver side is the supply (i think)?

The HSR's supply is passenger side and return is passenger. Both are on the back of the fuel rail

1BAD91Z28, Does your hood close with no issues or did you have to cut out some of the bracing on it? My steath ram is still in the box and I want to know if I need a hood or not.

Yes, I did have to. Although, I am running solid motor mounts and a tubular k member. So I'm not sure what the clearance would have been like with the factory components. I ended up cutting out the metal where the center plastic hood insulation retainer pops into.
