Ebay Turbo!

I found these two turbo kits on ebay, just thought I'd let you guys bash em. Looks too good to be true. Don't worry though, I still need to tackle a rebuild before I start thinking forced induction. Here ya go!

I have been researching turbos. I do not know much about those ebay vendors, but the most obvious issue with those kits is the lack of exhaust manifolds. That seems to be the biggest obstacle with Gen 4 F-bodies. There are rear mounted turbo kits available...prob the best choice that I have seen thus far.

Those are universal kits, And if you are stupid enough to buy one its your own fault when the turbo goes out in a week

You get what you pay for. If you really want your car to perform then buy quality.

I gotta be honest. If I had a low compression motor ready to go, I'd buy it. I'm just too cheap to pass that up. I'd definetly replace those blowoffs with legitimate parts so I dont slam the motor in a worst case scenario, but c'mon.
okay, the turbo fails the motor chokes out and you gotta get a new turbo. but a 900 for the whole twin intercooled kit? whats another turbo gonna cost? 300?

if you got good blowoffs the only thing the turbo kit would damage is the turbo kit itself.

heck, get 3 cutouts, weld two just before the turbos, weld one to the intake, put a filter on the intake cutout, and just run the turbo at the track.

better still
if the turbo fails, get a slightly used legitimate turbo and replace it with that.

when you lay it all down, you're buying something that your probably gonna have to fiddle with and screw around with, but what DONT you have to do that with in these cars?

Then again I am about the cheapest sob around so whatever, I'd buy it.

Way to cut to the chase..... But anything with universal followed by starter is usually not a good idea.....

Just duct tape a leaf blower on the throttlebody and impress
