it depends alot on the altitude you are at but usually it is 6psi or less

If the engine is built for boost, you could run as much as you want. With 10.4:1 CR, ~6psi is about all you want to run. I'm not saying people out there aren't running higher boost, I'm saying IT ISN'T PRUDENT. When you get your boost much over 6psi, I would bet you'll see the PCM pulling all kinds of timing, which defeats the purpose. You need to be about 8.5 to 9 CR to run anything worth running. Nitrous is a lot better power adder for a stock LT1, IMHO.
