Is this the 1LE Elbow part number??

I've been given the part number or the "1LE" elbow according to GM Parts Direct ( http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ ) and a local GM dealer over the phone. The list price at my dealer was $89 on this part and online it was around $48.

Part Number: 25147186

The problem is there is no picture and i don't know if this is the elbow I want - without the noise cancelation tube

Is anyone famliar with this part or part number who could identify it as the 1LE elbow.

I know they sell them aftermarket at upwards or $85 but i'd like to keep it GM if possible and the $48 is nice also...

I ran that number you gave on GMparts direct and it came up as Air Duct With Silencer which means it probably isn't the 1LE.

u can do it yourself. Just get a pvc end cap or even the top cap for a stick of deodorant will work, you'll also need an adjustable hose clamp, and pull that stupid noise dampner off. It's alot cheaper, and unless you're going for cosmetics, then it works just as well. Just my 2 cents, good luck.

It helps clean the air up going into the intake which helps in the hp area.

Well, not that many but there are a few. I live in a quite small commune(municipality?) with about 20 000 inhabitants...Well I bought my black 95 Z two years ago and when I parked outside a video store another 95 black Z drove up and parked beside me...I was cind of surprised to say the least
The downsida to owning a f-body in sweden is the total lack of aftermarket things to mod it with so I've almost imported everything from the states, now I'm saving up for a hotcam kit and porting of my heads.....money money
I've seen 1 more f-body here were I live since that, but that is a pontiac that lacks two cylinders if you know what I mean
We have a board as well for the camaro, with the 4:th gen as well...you can check it out but I'll guess you won't understand a thing

Cool!!! Do you have any pics to post on this site. I would like to check out your car and I know what you mean about the needing mod money but I guess I am in much better shape since I dont have to import everything I need.

No pics here at the work comp...but the looks of the car is nothing special, completely stock black -95 Z28 looking except the headlight covers, stock wheels and everything...Haven't run in the quarter yet either, mainly since there are not that many opportunities here to do that(once a year 75 miles from where I live), awsome quarter time you've got there btw ..
It sits in my parents neighbour garage now for the winter just waiting for the spring

so the gm part number 25147187 is the right one?

when i ran the number through http://www.gmpartsdirect.com
it comes up as "Air Cleaner and Silencer"

the number one lower, pn 25147186, has no picture and is like $2 and change more and says the same thing except the cost n that there is no picture.

what i wanna be sure of is that 25147187 is the right one for the 1LE elbow without the extra tube or "silencer"

#25147210 for -94

#25147187 for 95-97 ... That's the number I used when I ordered it and I got the one without the silencer...
