My idea for a Ram air

Well.... almost. I came up with this idea the other day, and think i want to give it a try.

I'm going to be buying a 4" cowl for my 91' Z soon. Now, my idea, is to drill / cut 4 holes in the hood. And bend piping (i know people... ok...? hehe). To come out of the holes, and lay right down on the hood. Throw some circular filters in it, and attach it with a square bolting under the hood. That in it's self will look cool, and bring in some air. If i took it the extra step, and used some piping or pvc, from the square bolting on the piping right into the cover of the snorkel kit or carb, that'd be nice. Not sure how i'd connect it and still be able to open my hood, maybe a pull string, with magnets on it aroud the hosing near the hood? Not sure, the pips will probably deffinately (hehe) happen, not sure about connecting it right to the intake it's self.

Any thoughts??
