Which Carb?

Hi all,
Before I change to a 750cfm. thought I would ask you guys who know V8's inside out, which 750 would you go for and whats the differance between a double pumper & Vac secondry?
Current carb Holley 650 D/P, on a 454ci with a solid lift cam.

Thanks in advance

Just the cam, lifters, intake, & headers at the moment, everything else is more or less standard (crank, rods & pistons I can only assume as standard)

i had a 454 in my 18 foot jetboat that was bored, water injected open headers, etc. and I ran a Holley 850 Double pumper. I could pass anything but a gas dock

if you use it on the streets often get a vac sec. and 650 is tiny for a 454. like said before you could prolly get away with a 850/880.

I think an Edelbrock 750 would work best for your car. If you get one opt for the one with a manual choke and buy the electric choke kit for it. The carb with the manual choke is calibrated more for performance, than the one with the electric choke. The electric kit bolts right on.
