That romatic feeling, when would you go & what type of person would you be?

I think I would have to go back either during the Dark ages or sometime before current Europe. Back when the Lords & Ladies ruled the land.

Of course I would have to be a Lady of the ton, & have to marry for love & nothing else.


Or I would have to be part of the old west, Incharge of my own life & have to be sweeped off my feet by someone rescueing me lol

I would go back to the time paperback romance novels are made of. I'm such a sucker for those things!!! If I didn't have anything else to do but lay around and read, I could go through 5-6 a week easily.

haha, I've read so many different authors I can't say that I really have a favorite, I can't even remember all the authors I've read. My best friend has CRATES, I kid you not, like the big plastic tubs probably 25 of them filled to the brim w/ paperback romance novels. She is my own personal library

hmmm Id go back like 70-80+ years. Seeing elderly people who have been with the same person for years upon years and never even begin to know what the word cheating on is....is simply amazing. the fact that the one you love is THE ONE and there is no other. the times where there was respect and money and material things were meaningless. Where family and being your partners best friend was the best thing in the world. those couples who remain together today even 90+ years old and still hold hands and take walks together and enjoy life as if it will never end and they will forever be together.

I love anything from England,Ireland or Scotland.

My sister in laws go buy books by the paper bag for .25 & then they pass them down to me. THen I go to my local used book store & shove the ones I dont want over to them. I do have a collection started of some of my favorate books

Yeah, if you haven't read it you'd like the Highlander series, it's scottish. Yeah, I really like Nora Roberts. I just read one not too long ago called "Real Women Don't Wear Size 2" I LOVED it!! It seriously had me laughing out loud most of the time. It's only the second book the author has published, but it was fantastic.

Janelle Taylor, Nora Roberts, Danniele Steel All are good authors.

There is one that is a husband/wife author and that is really good. Sorry I cant remember the name they are under.

I would have to say if there truly ever was a romantic time I would like to go to the mid 1800's. Back when ther ewere debutant balls and parties. Into the southern area before the civil war. When ladies were jsut that and gents were gents. My favorite movie is Gone witht he Wind. That is the era I would like to go to.
I can and would love to have a packed picnic under age old willow tree and jsut admire the sky. Walk among the fields holding hands with my beau and seeing the sun start to set as we walk back to our horses.

I think if our men would today would be more gentleman like we would be less likely to be sooo liberated in most areas.
