Another car show.....(not til august dont worry)

I know this show is a bit of a drive from up north, but its an easy drive and worth it. 1hr 30min from Bloomingdale Il, going 65.

This is a 5th annual MidWest Thunder Benefit car show. I do not joke around when I say this show has the biggest trophies Ive ever seen. Last year, my first place trophy even impressed Dood! the 1st place trophies stand about 3ft high. The best of Show trophies are about 7ft. There are more awards at this show than at HIN, WOW, etc. 100 and some trophies to be given away and all the proceeds go to Cancer paitents.

Good cause, HUGE turn out, fun people, and normally even a sound event too!!!

check it out and mark your calenders!!!

We could easily take the team award from this show as well. this is a good buddy of mine and the show is in rememberance of his mom who died from cancer. He has an amazing 78 trans am as well.

think you guys could all drive an hour and a half for a great cause and a good time?

for example of the trophies, this was a pic from last year. 2 in the middle, best of original and modified. then the ones on the ground are the other special awards and some of those people also recieved firsts in their classes which is why they may have more than one trophy. but as you can see they stand very tall and the money goes to a good cause! and its in shade and on nice grass.

last year it was drizzling all day long there were still 96 cars.

there has been close to 200 before. he wants to break 200 this year. there are also raffle prizes like you wouldnt believe. 50/50 last year was $400 and something for the half.

Its a good time and tons of wonderful people.

oh and may i also add....this is a judged show. and Brett also judges big events like WOW, Hot Rod Nationals etc. So he knows his stuff and so does his team and its VERY fair.
