dyno result

well i went to carlisle and put the z on dyno. heres results: 294.9 hp/309.4 tq. i was sorta dissapointed with results. a c6 vette ran right after me. his hp was 303 with exhaust and intake. i thought for sure i would break atleast 300.

thats typical for a dyno jet on a stock ls1 just think if you would have run on a mustang dyno 20% lower than a dyno jet lol. A dyno is just a tool so you can see where your at dont get caught up in the #'s its all about the track times.

Not bad!

Though it can get better, 294 ain't no slouch!! Regardless of what you do or how much HP you get (and how much you spend) there will always be something else you could do to get more. Even stock you have an excellent ride with a very potent drivetrain. However, there are a host of inexpensive things you can do to her that will up that even more. You should find tons of ideas and possibles looking around the comments in here.

so true snake. thats why i ask a bunch of questions and read the forums. i guess the next thing would be a dyno tune from what i read on here. they guys who ran the dyno said "we mostly deal with fords". but, he said they can get the right stuff in for chevy. what does that mean? i have no clue but they are fairly close to where i live. they are called axcelerated motorsports.
