What would you not install yourself?

Where do you draw the line for installs???

I know for one....I would be hesitant with electrical wiring (HID's) or messing with the gears. Springs and shocks are something I would probably pay to have installed as well.

How about ya'll???

See ya on the road,
Matt

I would do just about anything. But for somethings it is just good to leave to the pros. For me, that would be gears and rebuild of a trans.

With lots of research and Chris' watchful eye, there isn't anything I wouldn't at least try. As long as Chris knows how to do it, I'm willing to give it a shot, and there isn't much that Chris won't do himself.

Ring and Pinion and Rebuilding Transmissions. The rest is dependent on time and cash.

Probably anything transmission. I think I have the knowledge and skills to tackle anything else.

Matt, electrical is easy bro, once you know what you're doing.

I wouldn't do gears or a major rebuild or engine removal. I think I will try a cam install simply becasue there is so much info out there on cam installs.

Well I know I was a guinea pig helping to hold/splice wires on Chris's NX install....but like LEDs and soldering, HIDs wiring in new ballasts, and fuses....

See ya on the road,
Matt

I hate working on TH350's and I would never thouch a T-56, I don't really care for doing gears but anything else isn't too bad. If I was trying to build a stout shortblock I probably buy it since its not to expensive to have one built.

If it requires real special tools...

Anything that requires a feeler gage, micrometer or a real fine adjustment, I'm probably not going to do. If I can do it with a ratchet and box wrench, and if it can be done with one person, I'm pretty much game.

Gears, tranny, engine internals. I'd try a H/C setup, but would really want someone who's done it before to look over my shoulder.
