shifter hole...

well when i did my trans conversion i cut the shift hole a little to big. What would you guys reccomend to cover or fill the hole? Do you think i could use some dynomat?

i would bend some sheet metal and tack weld it in place then youll have a good place and solid place to moun the lower boot (if your using one)

well im using one, and it covers most of the hole, but there is a little bit of space under the boot that you can look down and see the driveshaft lol
you dont think the dynomat will work lol?
and i dont havea tac welder

Just get a larger lower shifter boot.

go to the junk yard and find a car that was m6 and cut out the trans tunnel larger than your big hole and over lay it using winshield urathane then screw it in with self tappers prob solved. thats what i had to do to my 85 ta when i did a conversion. i know easier said than done but its not hard at all if you can change your tire then you can do this. good luck.
