Some clarification about the SLP 345 HP Package....

I have just started reading up on the forum and trying many searches to find my answer but to no avail.......I picked up my 2002 SLP Camaro SS last wednesday and it did not come with a second sticker. Now, It does have the "SS" codes WU8 and Y2Y on the door jam so I know it is an SS. It did come with an SLP certificate and it only says "Base Alterations"

However, my SS did come with the SLP intake, the SLP Centre Mount exhaust package and the hurst shifter. I heard in late model 2002's SLP "threw in" some extras. Could this be the case with my car?

So by having the SLP intake and the rear CentreMount exhaust package, do I have the 345 HP additions?

You should remember that your car is 5 years old. In that time there are a lot of things that could have happened to it. Unless of course you know the first owner and they might be able to tell you.

The SLP options are noted on the passenger side door. You should see a sticker there that shows the installed options.

you can call SLP and give them the vin and they should be able to tell you if the car is a real ss or not and what options the installed on the car. thats what i've heard anyway.
