Leakiness

So I have this 98 Z28, and I recently noticed some water in the passenger side floormat. I figured it was the t-tops leaking, or the window wasn't rolled up or something, but turns out it was neither. The windshield has a good seal too. I pulled the plastic piece off underneath the glovebox and found water all inside....any idea to what might be causing this?? Thanks

Are you positive that its just water? sounds like a heater core issue to me but that would make it a mix of antifreeze. Thats one of the few reasons I could figure. The other being something with the ac and condensation but I could imagine that much condensation. though I could see there being that much coolant. *shrug* Good luck

Do you use your A/C a ton????? if there is no discoloration or smell...just water.... then you most likely have a clogged drain for the evap. In your engine bay follow where the A/C lines enter the box mounted to the cowl panel (firewall). If you follow that plastic box to the bottom of it you will find a drain, bassically stick a screw driver in it to try and unclog it. Dont go crazy poking around though, dont wanna stab the Evap. Ny buddy just took his SS to a dealer to have them do it quick and they only charged him like $15
