emissions
i knowthis might be in wrong section but im looking to find out what i need to do to fix my emissions i took the ta today after getting the tranny fixed and they said somehting aout driving it and i cant find it anywhere so if anybody knows what to do let me know

By the way we got the mustang running he went to do a little quick burn out in front the house and broke the rear end. Poor Ford guy but anyways raced his talon and blew it away.

i dont understand what you need to get fixed rewrite the question so we can help you bro , more specific......are you saying you moved and they say you wont pass emmissions?

no i had the tranny replaced. they dissconnected the battery. so all my emission stuff stored in my pcm is gone i was wondering the procedure to get it back. so basicilly the emission guys hook up to my obd2 port and tell me if it passes or fails but it cant rread anything because its all gone. they are telling me i have tp drive it around and then come back and the monitors should come back is what they tell me.it called a readiness monitor which stores your info but its all gone. so im wondering the procedure to get it all back

yea i think that you have to do what they told you dude the computer needs to relearn all the stuff again

Yeah, after you disconnect the battery, everything dumps. Drive it around for about a half hour to an hour and it will upload all the data back in. Doesn't have to be constant, just total time.
