Cool I think my headlight motor is burned out?

I encountered the usual gear problem in the headlight motor of my 1998 pontiac firebird. (continues to operate and grind after you shut it off). Well I did not address the problem in time and now the grinding has stopped along with the headlight motor? DO I just need to replace the entire motor and if so where can I get one?

There are ways to disassemble it and replace the stripped gear inside. A new motor is an option, however I believe it's $200 or so. I feel bad plugging another site but here it goes:

Check out the headlight sticky at the top, there's about 5 pages of 'info on dealing with these poorly engineered pieces...
