stock 00 z28

ok, it seems like everything in the world needs my money instead
of my z28. since i haven't been able to do any modifications yet,
are there any additives that i can use to help with performance?
i have a auto and it shifts kind of lazy. i was thinking about using
B&M sythetic treatment and maybe some lucas octain boost in the
tank. is this good or bad?

Would just try a full fluid flush first and see how that works.

I had the exact same setup as you, and with the free mods at http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm and I replaced my muffler with a straight through muffler, and I dropped a half a second in the 1/4 and gained 4 mph

I would atleast do a tranny filter/screen replacement
a clogged tranny will feel sluggish along with old fluid..
80,000 miles on 4L60E is quite a bit of miles, I would use the Valvoline Max Life dexron III for higher mileage transmissions..

80,000 Miles on a stock transmission I wouldnt even waste time or money with a shift kit you should be looking at a 1/2 decent rebuild especially if you intend to modify the car more in the future..

Octane boost is waste, just like throwing money away stick to 93 octane..
