best way to launch?

hey guys,
Im bout to take my 99 Z28 to the track for the 1st time next weekend( March 30th) for the F-body Shootout @ silver dollar raceway in GA. I was wondering what is the best way to launch an M6, w/ bout 310-320 rwhp. on street tires. Im probly going to put Nitto 555r's on the rear before then would they help much?
thanks guys

I just got a new pair of Nitto 555r's about 2 weeks ago went to a local strip, heated them up good and launched it from 2500 and one at 3000 with no tire spin, they hooked up real well.
