anything special about it?

Was wondering if there's anything special about and 84 Z, with gold rims and a louvered rear window. I picked one up thats needs a restore, but was thinking about another project for her. don't want to change the car if it's some special type or are these just regular options ?

Also the center console lid is gone, where else can I find the RPO codes for this car ?

I'm assuming their on the build sheet under the gas tank, but I'm not ready to drop the tank just yet without finding more info on her

are you sure those werent added on by someone. Check the vin number at the bottom of the windshield. They have places online that can tell you what each number means

I checked the VIN ,but those don't go into that much detail about options added etc. It does indicate that it's a Z28 with a 305 that's about it.

I would have to say then that those are additions that someone added on. Because louvers and rims can always be put on by somebody.

I agree. Check in the spare tire compartment and see if the sheet is there. That is where mine was. I just found out about 2 yrs. ago. That was the first time my spare tire has ever been out and there it was in the compartment. There should also be a sticker on the inside of your console that should have a bunch of codes on it.

rear window louvers were put on, dunno what rims they'd be. i dunno if there's too much special bout the car. 84 was the year that the most camaros were produced though, i beleive.

84 was the most popular year for Z28's, I know, but I'm not sure about Camaros overall.
