00 Z28 pricing

Well i was hoping not to have to sell the car but im expecting a baby girl in the begining of august and ive decided that i should sell the car. I picked it up in october for 18,900 w/ 22000 miles on it now it has 34,000 miles on(i just cant stop driving it). I havent really been able to figure out how much it is worth now. Its pretty much stock, m6, t-tops, maroon. So if anyone has any idea how much its worth please let me know.

Do you suppose the higher end camaros will fetch a better price since they are no longer made??

Just curious.

zero interest has killed the value of the newer cars. so youd be lucky to get 17000 out of it. id bet somewhere between 15000 and 16500.

That's what I thought too, but I had a hard time finding someone that was wanting to buy a sports car. I believe I could have gotten more for it if I would have waited untill about now to sell it.

I took $10,500 for my 99'. I know it was worth a lot more than that, but I needed a truck. My car had every available option except leather, and it was a very nice car. Definitley not a turd by any means. I should have kept it instead of letting it go that cheap.

If you're referring to me, I didn't lose any money at all on my car. I would have kept it if I was losing money. Bye the way, $10,500 not $10,000. I would never get $17,000. That price is way too high. I've seen 01' Z-28's retailing at car lots a little cheaper than 17k. These cars can be found cheap if you look. On the other hand, I know I should have held out b/c the car was worth a lot more than what I sold it for. I figured it may have been easier to sell this time of yr. as compared to the winter months when I was selling it.
