Brake Light Bulb

I want to convert the 3057 bulb for the brake in an led bulb, which color would look good a clear or red led???

this shop keeps on telling me that i would need a red led instead of white, cause the white wont shine thru, anyone know if this is true?

the white ones would make your taillights brighter, the red ones will make them not as bright but a deeper red, it's your choice on how you want it, bright tails or deeper red tails...

thanks this really helps me out, i think the whites would be too bright for me but im not sure cause i would need to see a pic of the deeper red look too, i just put the 3157 led whites in my reverse lenses and it looks sickkkk at nite, so now im gonna change the brake light ones, so that when u left off the brake light, the bulb goes out fast just like a cadalliac lights would i hope?

lol i would buy both but they cost$10 a bulb so it would be costly

just tried the white and it looks horrible, def gonna go with the red
