Low to High beams

I'm having trouble making the switch from low to high beams and it seems as though when I make the attempt to pull the handle back, nothing seems to be clicking like usual.

Does anyone know what the part would be called that broke and is there any way to fix it without taking that entire steering column apart?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm having the same problem but if I put my left turn signal on is when I have a chance.

You need to adjust the high low switch. It's on teh top of the column under the dash. it sits on teh same bracket as the ign switch. If you pull your wheel all the way down (with the tilt), you should be able to select the high/low. That is what I have to do cause I'm too lazy to get up under there and fix it. I'm a fat guy and that is a small space lol.
