question again..

with the more miles u put on your car do u lose horsepower eventually..a friend of mine with a 02 trans am with 112.000 miles on it dynoed 290 with a rebuilt tranny,slp lid,k and n filter,no cats and tsp exhaust amd no tune..

Depends on how you take care of it. If you don't change the oil like you should, then the rings will wear out and you will lose power. As well as the sealing of the heads.

yeah cuz we raced one time and i beat him by a whole car length and im around 350 rwhp.but we raced from a 50 roll..but anyways after the dyno tune he is now 306 rwhp and 338 tq so he definently gained but we were thinking higher numbers..but the funny thing is when we did his first pull his fuel to air ratio was at 16 when its supposed to be around 11 ish so we dont know how that would happen...when i had his same mods with a tune i was 330 rwhp so i just dont get it sein that he has a t/a and i got the z28 hes supposed to be higher in the numbers but i guess my car is running better than i thought..

depends on the dyno too, were you guys both dyno'd on the same one?
