V8 gauges in V6?

What modifications need to be made to make the V8 (155mph) white faced gauges work in the V6 camaro? Thanks

The white face is aftermarket and anyone can do that to there own. Stock is black. As for the gauge cluster, I think the reluctor in the trans is the same on both transmissions, so you should be able to swap it out. I'm not sure on this, and I'm sure that someone that has tried will chime in if I am wrong. But, I think you should be able to get the speedo to work. The other gauges... You may have to do some working on. All you can do is swap them out and see if it works.

Where in Oklahoma are you located? And what year is your v6?

We should meet up some day. I live in Noble, just south of OKC by the track. Hell, we will pull that dash apart and try it out if you get a new cluster lol.

Well i appreciate the offer, but i think i can handle replacing it. I just needed to know if the resistance was different.

i just had another idea... possible to change resistor on speedometer to act as a 155? and then i can just add the white face stickers...

you would probably have to recalibrate using a tuning software.
