To get what the car is worth I would go to kbb.com or nada.com both sites will give you the value of the car. You should be able to find one however you may have to travel a little bit to get it but I wouldnt expect it to be very far!! Good luck on getting one.
I love them too

Are you looking for the red LE car or just an SS?

LE is for limited edition SS. It has the black racing stripes and 35th anniversary badges. This one will be harder to find and more expensive. Somebody here can surely chime in with the number of them made. BEAUTIFUL cars! Don't worry it has the big mill under the hood

There were a little over 3000 made and yes they are a little harder to find. It is the car that has the silver checkered stripes, spec. edit. badges, black and silver wheels, custom cargo mat and floor mats. I missed getting one by just a few days! A man at a used car lot bought one from an auction for a little bit of money, didn't know that Camaro's were extinct, and thought that someone just customized this car to their liking. It only had 23K. The advertising price was $23,500. It didn't even last an afternoon before it was gone!

That brings up a point I've often thought about. How come I'm never the person that stumbles upon the 2002 SS LE that someone is foolishly selling for 23,500 or like my buddy here at work that bought a '29 Model A with all the parts just needing to be cleaned up and worked on mechanically for $25. Why can't I ever be that guy that finds the unbeleivable deal!!

My SS was the only right time right place deal I've ever come accross! $21K, 15K on the clock, and it still smells like new. I also found out that my car had some additional tweaks from SLP including an SLP Blackwing CAI. I think the original owner had SLP do a cam swap on it, and he bought 6 year 60K extended warranty. That kinda made me forget about the red LE car.
